I swore off pickup trucks long ago, after owning two...but the other day I saw a forest green new Silverado, and now I want one. Cursed green!

Because the Silverado/Sierra is the bottom of the class if you don't include the Tundra or Titan.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't like Ford trucks at all, the Rams have too many problems (seriously I should not be selling folks replacement parts for trucks that are less than a year old with less than 40k miles, yet I do that almost every day for the Rams), Tundra's new bodystyle looks goofy, Titan is too old, and the littler trucks we do get are too expensive for what they are. Seriously a 4x4 Colorado only costs a bit less than the 4x4 Silverado, what's up with that. I've always preferred Chevy trucks to most of the alternatives, save for the Taco and the 2nd gen Tundras. I've remained fairly convinced that I really don't have need of a truck since I got rid of my 02 Silverado, but I can see where having one would be useful, even though 90% of the things I might use it for could be accomplished with an SUV + the trailer that I already own. I should probably just buy another used Land Rover. They come in green too.

gas won't stay under 2 bucks a gallon for a long time, and you will probably own the truck for longer than that. and trucks suck on mpg.
